Get it? Just a statement of fact, or is it?:)
Like most Splice Cream projects, we aim to use creative/humorous media to support a cause, in this case, animals, especially the most brutalized creatures, namely farmed animals and endangered wildlife. Along with integrating animal-support messages into standup and on the fundraising Tofu Tee, we’re churning up new projects to support our non-human friends.
Here's the scoop! The time is ripe for the non-dairy Jane Goodall-inspired flavor “Jane’s All-Good: Chocolate Chimp Banana Bread". Precursors to this flavor were the inspiration for Splice Cream, and we’re hoping this flavor can finally become a reality!
We’re proposing a flavor that would:
Be made with fair trade, ethically-sourced, and vegan ingredients.
Fund the groundbreaking work of the Jane Goodall Institute (which protects animals, people, and the planet) through profit-sharing of the flavor's proceeds.
Make customers happy by tantalizing their tastebuds and giving ice cream noshers that warm-fuzzy do-gooder glow.
Raise awareness about the environment, animal protection, and humanitarian causes through sharing information about Jane’s work.
Authentically foster Ben and Jerry’s original brand ideologies by providing sanctuary to our relatives, the chimpanzees, local communities, and planetary wellbeing (none of that greenwashing stuff here!)

Ms. Holstein has a few messages to share: click the image below image to hear a comedic audio pod about veganism, created to provide information and entertainment for non-vegans.
Animals are individuals, not commodities. This imagine is available on a limited batch of screen printed t-shirts, offered at cost with a request of a donation to your favorite animal support org. Please contact us if interested.
These are playing pieces from a game-based curriculum about animals and the environment. The project was created with a colleague at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and supported by Harvard’s Operation Impact (Ed. Innovation Grant). It’s in the prototype phase. If you’re interested in learning more or partnering to take it forward and into schools, please Contact Us.
Nilima’s written various articles on veganism, either informational or satirical essays, often highlighting an under-discussed perspective. She’s been commissioned to write for a national environmental organization, and self-directed pieces have been published as well.
