Help yourself, help others, save money, save lives.
Chalo, meaning "let's go" in Hindi is a mobile app based program to turn excess, detrimental spending into life-saving changes for both "haves" and "have-nots". The program could be used in the following situations:
1. Help people avoid junk food by feeding hungry children. Feel proud instead of guilty.
2. Encourage biking to work instead of driving, plant trees and work in teams to stay inspired.
3. Get sponsored to make environmentally friendly choices, win coupons and freebies from ethical brands.
4. Make any goal related to food, exercise or consumption, donate instead of or to offset spending, earn chances to win cash and prizes.
See slidedeck below for more about Chalo. There is also an extensively researched business plan, as well as prototype and related materials. The program was put aside to build Reward Volunteers and we'd love to see it completed, which could happen with appropriate partnership from either an ethical company, large non-profit or non-profit donor portal, and/or investor/funder.
