This feature-length documentary chronicles a giant, cross-cultural "family" in S. India over 10 years. The kids used to beg or pick through garbage, often beaten and cast aside. Today they chant Sanskrit Vedas in famous temples, pass exams, and do seva (selfless service). A story of love beyond biology, and attempts to live righteously in a corrupt world, the narrative is complex, nuanced and reflective of the unanswerable questions at the heart of the human condition. This film is the fine cut stage, in need of finishing funds. Please Contact Us for trailer.
